Bredonborough.

This Christmas and New Year have the taste of new beginnings; not only of how the Little Luvvie and myself celebrate the Season; also of the future leaning in and engaging past and present, across the spectrum.

A wonderful Christmas at home…

A sense that, after twenty-one years of dealing with Endless Grief and its repercussions, now pretty much neutralised, DGM and King Crimson are becoming able to respond to what is required of them.

The new DGM Live site is moving towards becoming (inter alia) an archive for King Crimson, The Vicar, RF, and Guitar Craft History to include the Guitar Circle, The LCG and The OCG. These archives include future, current and past arisings – as if time has no purchase here.

King Crimson’s 2017 touring will be mostly in the US, beginning in Seattle and down the West Coast during early June to July; continuing to the East Coast in the Autumn. My gratitude to David Singleton at DGM, and Declan Colgan of Panegyric, who together make available to King Crimson a degree of independence within the music industry that is exceptionally rare.

More of this in the coming weeks. For now, my thanks once again to all those good people who have sent many forms of kindness over the Season, and my own Very Best Wishes to Friends Known and Unknown, and visitors to DGM Live.

Now, time to gentle. Returning to life as a travelling player involves constantly leaving my Wife. Although exceptionally busy herself, after thirty years of leaving her to work with people I know less well then she (many who cannot play in C major), now time, at the end of this Season of Hope and Joy, and the beginning of a New Year, to make a fuss of her.
